BACIWA-PrimeWater Bacolod City To Launch Nature Conservation Program
Lily Donasco, PrimeWater Bacolod Branch Manager said these projects are just the initial steps to provide safe and potable water supply. “There are a lot to expect from PrimeWater Bacolod,” she said.
To be launched in Bacolod City is Primewaters’ Daloy ng Paglingap Program and Lingap Kabuhayan for Community and Livelihood Support, Lingap Karunungan for Information, Education and Communication Drive, and Lingap Bukas Palad for Charitable Donations and Reach Out Activities.
Aside from the delivery of reliable and potable water supply in Bacolod, Donasco said concessionaires could also expect programs that will contribute to nature conservation through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Activities, under Primewater’s Daloy ng Paglingap Program.
Environmental initiatives dealing with nature preservation are organized through Lingap Kalikasan, one of four pillars of Lingap Programs.
“PW Bacolod is closely working with environmental projects together with its JV partner, Bacolod City Water District (BACIWA),” Donasco said, emphasizing one of the fruits of PrimeWater’s partnership with BACIWA.
With water being an essential part of everyone’s life, Primewater Bacolod, with its JV Partner BACIWA, have been working tirelessly together to provide not just potable and reliable water to all their concessionaires, but also CSR programs.
Through these efforts, this precious resource is preserved and will remain sustainable, for now and the future generation as well, Donasco added.
She also acknowledged the excellent efforts of BACIWA with environmental initiatives, saying the partnership would bear more projects in the future. “PrimeWater Bacolod will continue its best practices and will introduce more projects that will benefit both the concessionaires and the environment,” she added.
In November 2020, Primewater Infrastructure Corp. and Bacolod City Water District (BACIWA) inked a 25-year Joint Venture (JV) agreement to work together in answering Bacolod’s need for water supply.
Since the partnership with BACIWA, PrimeWater Bacolod has delivered various projects to address the city’s water-related concerns, to include the detection of visible and non-visible leaks to maintain adequate water pressure for its concessionaires, as well as provision of Generator Sets to ensure continuous water supply in the event of power interruptions,
In over thirty years, PrimeWater has given quality services in the design of water distribution systems, development of water sources, construction and installation of transmission and distribution lines, management of water supply, and operation of septage management facilities.
