In celebration of the 2025 National Women’s Month, the Bacolod City Water District (BACIWA) stands in solidarity with the nation in recognizing the strength, resilience, and invaluable contributions of women across all sectors.
This year’s theme, “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas,” highlights the crucial role women play in shaping a progressive and inclusive future for the country.
As part of this observance, BACIWA reaffirms its commitment to the principles outlined in Republic Act 9710, also known as the Magna Carta of Women. This law advocates for women’s empowerment, promotes gender equality, and ensures that all women have equal access to opportunities and resources.
BACIWA remains dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where barriers are broken, voices are uplifted, and equality thrives for the benefit of all.
