The Bacolod City Water District (BACIWA), celebrated Senior Citizen’s Month last June 14 and 22, 2023 by giving away 20 grocery packs to good payingcustomers aged 60 and above. Therecipients came from various barangays in Bacolod City. The activity was organized by Customer Care Section Head Ms. Gladys Tasipit.
The grocery packs contained a variety of essential items, including rice, canned goods, cooking oil, bread, bath and detergent soap, bleach, dishwashing soap, toothpaste, liniment, coffee, and juice drink.
The recipients were very grateful for the gesture, and said that it would help them to stretch their budgets during this difficult time.
This is just one example of how BACIWA is committed to providing excellent service to its customers, especially to the elderly. The district offers5% discountto senior citizens, provided the account is registered under his/her name.
