BACIWA will be having a Bloodletting Activity tomorrow, March 27, 2024 starting 8:00 am to 12:00 noon at PrimeWater Conference Room.
For interested donors here are the basic requirements for you:
- Age : 18 years old & above
- Weight : at least 110 lbs or 50 kg
- BP : 110/70 to 130/90
- Pulse Rate : 60-100 beats/minute
- No alcoholic intake within 24 hours
- 7 days before & after menstrual period
- No smoking 4 hours before donating
- No medicine & antibiotic intake
- Tattoo and body piercing at least 1 year
- No allergies
- With cough and colds will be deferred
- Received vaccines 2-3 weeks will be deferred
- Rabies Vaccine must be 1 year ago
- Regular donors may donate after every 3 months of previous donation.
