BACIWA Conducts Coastal Clean Up And Mangrove Growing Activity

Last October 27, 2018, Three hundred ninety nine (399) employees of the Bacolod City Water District conducted a Coastal Clean Up and Mangrove Growing Activity at Roma Beach as part of the 45th Anniversary Celebration of the District.
BACIWA employees planted 4,000 mangroves at Roma Beach, Barangay Punta Taytay
Approximately 500 kilograms of garbage and trash were collected. The collected garbage was endorsed to Roma Beach staffs and to be collected by IPM Construction and Development, Corp.
Four Thousand (4,000) mangroves (bakhaw and bongalon) were also planted by the employees.
These activities were done in coordination with Barangay Punta taytay officials.
